Different background, different expertise, one shared conviction.
Our shared belief is that the gap between what leadership is and what the organisation requires is almost always more visible and more solvable than acknowledged.
Between us we carry the human depth, the governance judgment and the technological understanding that leadership excellence actually requires.
Not as separate disciplines; as the way we think, work and show up together.
Depending on the brief, we work as a full team or in a focused pairing.
The right combination depends on what the situation actually needs.
I’ve spent fourteen years getting close to the problems most leadership support works around; as an Operator, Consultant, Trustee and a Non-Executive. That breadth gives me the range to see what others often miss.
My career spans global FinTech, PE-backed businesses and independent practice; Global Head of Culture and Internal Communications, senior leadership across commercial and product functions, talent, performance and leadership development. An IPO across 18,000 people. Post-merger mobilisation and crisis stabilisation under some of the most testing conditions in UK financial services history.
By background I’m A Business Psychologist whose Board and Trustee work spans professional psychology, mental health and inclusion, where the personal and professional dimensions of leadership become impossible to separate.
Lexn exists because I’ve seen too many leaders navigating genuine complexity with support that was never designed for their situation.
Thirty years in finance, risk and transformation and I’m still more interested in what’s possible than what’s permitted.
I’ve led transformation at SABMiller, served as Non-Executive Director at Grant Thornton UK and the NHS, and spent a career working inside highly regulated environments that most people find constraining. I find them clarifying, the rigour forces creativity.
The accountability demands collective intelligence – bringing the right people together and trusting what emerges when they’re genuinely heard.
That’s the lens I bring to governance, risk and the work Lexn does.
In 2008 I built my first AI coaching tool, because I needed something that didn’t exist yet. That instinct to build from necessity rather than trend has shaped everything since.
I’m a published researcher in AI ethics and human performance, founder of the AI Coaching Alliance with over 470 members, and I advise the global governing bodies of coaching on how AI should be applied responsibly. I’ve developed tools for environments as demanding as astronaut performance on the International Space Station.
The question that drives all of it is the same one Lexn asks: what are the human conditions that determine whether any of this actually works?
